Naturally, there will be a number of questions regarding the transition to the new interface in TQM Enterprise. In this article, we attempt to answer these.
What is the background for the name change of the module from Schema to Checklist?
The reason for changing the name is that we primarily use the functionality for checklists. Repeated feedback has been that the form is perceived as vague, and that there is a need for a more precise name that is perceived as more explanatory. We know that the names will not suit everyone, but we still hope that end-users will become familiar with these changes over time.
Will this update affect the colors we have in our process map today?
The colors in the process map will not be affected by this update. This means that all colors currently available will be preserved after the version update.
These are the colors used in the new UI: 🔵 Colors used in the new UI of TQM Enterprise
Will there be any change in the design of printouts?
For now, printouts will still have the old module colors, but we want to change this as well. The day the colors are replaced by a new module color, the content will still be the same as today.
Will the "All" checkbox in the quick search for documents be active by default?
It is a problem that they do not have this active and only get hits where they stand and then no hits on searches.
There will be no change in this functionality. However, please feel free to contact support, and we can activate this for all users at your location.
The order of the modules
We want to listen to the feedback that came during the webinar, and decide that modules used by most should be placed furthest to the left. This means the following order:
- Document
- Case
- Risk
- Checklist
Will the modules in the app be updated in the same way as the update on the web?
No, not yet. We are working on a new app with a new design. Some of this will be presented at the User Days. Launch is a long way off and we do not have a date for this.
I want to be able to change details in a search funcrtion without having to restart the search In the last version update before the summer, we launched "remember parameters when using the back button in the browser". Hence, search parameters will be remembered upon using the back buttoin, but a clean search page will be presented when the function is selected from the menu. Please try again and give us feedback on whether there is a need for further functionality here.
Is two-factor authentication coming?
Two-factor authentication using standard login in TQM Enterprise is something we are working on. This could otherwise be implemented by integration with Entra ID or Google. Please contact support if this is of interest.
Will AI be facilitated in the solution?
For example, a chatbot that makes it possible to search in the documents?
We are definitely working on this! Come to our User Days and you will learn more
Can you preview PDF files without having to download them first?
We are working on a solution to be able to preview documents without downloading, this will come in some time.
